Is CoinVault read-only?
Yes, CoinVault can only view your account data. We cannot initiate payments, transfers, or any financial transactions. Your money stays exactly where it is.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored on Hetzner servers in the European Union. We never transfer data outside of EU/CH jurisdictions.
Do I need my IT department?
No. CoinVault is designed for finance teams. The setup process requires only your bank credentials, which your bank provides directly to you.
What happens if I disconnect a bank?
Your historical data remains in CoinVault. No new transactions will be synced. You can reconnect at any time.
How often is data synced?
EBICS connections sync daily (typically overnight). Open Banking connections sync multiple times per day.
What currencies are supported?
CoinVault supports all major currencies including CHF, EUR, USD, GBP. Multi-currency accounts are displayed with real-time FX rates from the ECB.
